Circadian
A day-long arc, from waking through to rest.
Through the day
Four anchors
Waking is warm and low. The middle of the day is bright and clear. Evening turns warm again, and night comes down to almost nothing. Four anchors, and the light moves between them slowly enough that you notice the room has changed rather than watching it change.
Anchored to you
Your day, not a schedule
The anchor times are yours to move, and by default they follow sunrise and sunset — so the arc shifts with the season rather than sitting on a fixed clock. Light in time with your body’s natural rhythm, composed for evening and morning. Individual experiences vary.
Plainly
What Circadian is not
Circadian composes light across a day, and that is all it does. It measures nothing, it monitors nothing, and it makes no claim about your health. What is on this page is the whole of it: the room is warmer at one end of the day and cooler at the other, and the change is slow.
